According to the Wealthcounsel’s Estate Planning Survey only 60% of Americans are not planning for the future by protecting themselves and their family.  Clients from all social backgrounds can benefit from estate planning.  Parents may want to designate a guardian for
their children.  Homeowners could seek to ensure that their homes are transferred to their designated beneficiaries. Business owners may want to keep their business in family hands, or might want to leave their business to their most loyal employee.  They might have a low amount of assets but want to make sure that they go to a charity of their choice. Most of all, estate planning takes away the burden that is often left on family members.
